This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Paylinq platform, operated by ARVIGON LIMITED (CRN: 79450448), Room 803, 8/F, Hong Kong Pacific Centre, 28 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. By using Paylinq, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

1. Purpose

This policy exists to protect ARVIGON LIMITED, our payment provider partners, and the broader ecosystem of merchants and customers who rely on our platform. We are committed to keeping Paylinq a safe, legal, and trustworthy place to do business.

2. Prohibited Products and Services

You may not use Paylinq to sell or collect payment for any of the following:

  • Illegal goods or services of any kind under Hong Kong or applicable international law
  • Counterfeit products or intellectual property infringement
  • Adult content, pornography, or escort services
  • Gambling, lotteries, or online gaming (without prior written approval from ARVIGON LIMITED)
  • Controlled substances, pharmaceuticals without proper licensing, or drug paraphernalia
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives
  • Hate speech, discriminatory materials, or content promoting violence
  • Financial services requiring licensing (lending, investment advice, securities) without the appropriate licences
  • Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or deceptive investment opportunities
  • NFTs or cryptocurrency products (without prior written approval)
  • Tobacco, e-cigarettes, or vaping products
  • Services that violate the terms of any payment provider (Stripe, Mollie, Airwallex, PayPal)

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Paylinq to:

  • Process fraudulent transactions or facilitate money laundering
  • Conduct phishing, social engineering, or impersonation of other businesses
  • Collect payments for goods or services you do not intend to deliver
  • Use stolen card details or process payments without the cardholder's authorisation
  • Circumvent chargeback or dispute resolution processes
  • Create multiple accounts to evade platform restrictions or fraud detection
  • Resell or sublicense Paylinq services without written authorisation from ARVIGON LIMITED
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the platform's source code or data
  • Conduct automated attacks, DDoS, or attempts to disrupt the platform
  • Share account credentials with unauthorised parties

4. Content Standards

All content you upload to Paylinq — including product listings, descriptions, images, and digital files — must:

  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Comply with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where you sell
  • Not violate any platform policies set by our payment providers

5. High-Risk Merchant Categories

Certain business types require prior written approval from ARVIGON LIMITED before using the platform. These include but are not limited to: travel agencies, nutraceuticals and dietary supplements, subscription box services, crowdfunding campaigns, and political organisations. 6. Compliance with Laws

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Paylinq complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of your customers. This includes consumer protection laws, distance selling regulations, VAT/GST obligations, and digital goods regulations.

7. Enforcement

ARVIGON LIMITED reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Remove or refuse to serve any content or transaction
  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Report violations to relevant authorities or payment providers
  • Withhold settlements pending investigation

8. Reporting Violations

If you believe another merchant is violating this AUP, or if you have questions about whether your use case is permitted, contact ARVIGON LIMITED at compliance@paylinq.net.

9. Changes to This Policy

ARVIGON LIMITED may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, payment provider requirements, or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notification.
